I’m not sure whether I should be concerned or in awe, that this man managed to train a bear.

Groundbreaking Cheerios Commercial

This new Cheerios commercial is going viral since it features an inter-racial couple.  Very rarely have commercials leaned towards this marketing step and, because Cheerios took the leap, they’re commercial is getting even more publicity than before.  Not to mention that the actress for the daughter that they cast is incredibly adorable.

Lessons From Hollywood: Don’t Go Into The Phone Booth.

It’s becoming more and more common to take scenes from Hollywood movies, and to montage them together, to show the repetitiveness that we’re constantly paying to see in theaters.  I think that these viral videos, although they provide humor, also give us a better look at the things that are just regurgitated on screen over and over again.  Maybe it’s time for some different twists, Hollywood?

22nd La Liga in numbers for Fc BArcelona

“It has been a very good season,” said Tito Vilanova following the final league match against Málaga. But the numbers show this season has been more than very good, aspects of it have been historic. Details after the jump.

Points and Goals

“I don’t think anyone will reach 100 points and 120 goals again.” Well José Mourinho was only half correct in that pre-season proclamation.

FC Barcelona did reach the 100 points total thereby equaling the La Liga record set last season (2011/12) by Mourinho’s Real Madrid. This mark did however break the club record of 99 points recorded in 2009/10.

Barça netted 115 goals over the 38 game season, and while still six behind the absolute league record of 121 (Real Madrid – 2011/12), it was enough to set a new club record by beating out the previous benchmark of 114 (2011/12).

Still Barça did however set a new La Liga record by scoring in every one of the 38 match-days. This has never been accomplished in a league made up of 20 clubs.

In our dust

Since league wins have been assigned a value of three points the previous record margin between 1st and 2nd place was 13 points (Real Madrid-Mallorca, 1998/99). Therefore a new La Liga record has been inked with Barça outdoing Real Madrid by 15 points.

Barça also looked down from 1st position on all its opponents since the first day of the league until the very last. This is the 2nd time the club has managed such a feat and not since 1984/5.

Winning

Thirty-two total league victories is on par with the La Liga record once again set last season by Real Madrid. Barça equalled another La Liga and club record with 18 home wins first achieved in 2009/10.

Quick off the block

Accumulating 55 of a total possible 57 points in the first half of the season set a new La Liga record. At the middle mark Barça was already 11 points ahead of Atlético Madrid and 18 in front of Real Madrid. Mourinho’s men only managed to makeup three points since.

Fair play

FC Barcelona collected 60 yellow cards on route to the title. This is the cleanest performance by a team since the 1994/5 season when Sporting Gijon received only 58.

Man caught on video stealing store mannequin only to return for her lingerie

A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with theft related charges after he was caught on video stealing a mannequin, adult toys and sexy lingerie to dress “her”.

Arthur Ray Brown, of Bainbridge Island, Washington, walked into an adult entertainment store and grabbed a mannequin from the display window and ran out the store.

While he was rushing to get away, the mannequin’s leg fell off. The man ran off with only her top. Then, later that night, when the store was already closed, Brown come back. He broke the glass front door, stole adult toys and sexy lingerie, to dress the mannequin.

Large egg bigger than human head sells for $100,000

A massive egg that is larger than a human head sold for an enormous amount of money this week, according to press reports in the United Kingdom.

The enormous egg laid by a partially fossilized extinct elephant bird has sold for more than twice its estimate at auction in London.

Christie's auction house said Wednesday that the nearly foot long nine inch egg in diameter went for $101,813. It has been valued at $30,000 to $45,000 before the sale, and was sold to an anonymous bidder by telephone, after about 10 minutes of bidding.
Elephant birds became extinct several hundred years ago. The large egg, set on the island of Madagascar, is believed to date from before the 17th century.
